Bình Thuận is the Middle′s final land area of Vietnam, with the coastline of 192km. It borders Ninh Thuận province in the North, Đồng Nai and Lâm Đồng province in the West and Northwest, Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu province in the Southwest and the East Sea in the East and Southeast. Bình Thuận province consists of Phan Thiết City, Lagi Town and 08 districts. The natural area is: 7.992 km2; the population is 1.187.559 (in 2008) with such ethnic groups as: the Kinh, the Cham, the Ra Glai, the Chinese, the Cơ Ho, the Chu Ru..., among which the Kinh holds the majority and the Cham takes the second position.
